Vabimo vas na 11. odprto Državno prvenstvo v morskem kajaku (Ocean racing) in mednarodno tekmo v veslanju na deski (SUP) – disciplina downwind za leto 2026.
Termin
Tekmovanje bo v soboto, 3.10. ali nedeljo, 4.10. 2026.
Datum bo prilagojen vremenskim pogojem in sicer tako, da bo izbran dan, ko bo veter ugodnejši. Določen bo naknadno in sicer vsaj 5 dni pred tekmovanjem in objavljen na spletni strani KZS.
Tekmovalna proga
Tekmovalna proga bo potekala s štartom v Žusterni, mimo Izole, z obratom v Mesečevem zalivu in nazaj do cilja v Žusterni.
Dolžina proge je približno 15 km. Proga za SUP je enaka progi za morski kajak.
Kategorije
Dovoljene so vse vrste nepotopljivih kajak čolnov. Tekmovalo se bo le v kategoriji kajak enosed, v primeru prijav v kanuju enosedu pa tudi kanu enosed in vse vrste SUP-ov v absolutni kategoriji.
Za pokal mesta Koper bo štela le absolutna K-1 in SUP kategorija v moški in ženski konkurenci.
Kategorija na tekmovanju bodo:
– Mladinci-mladinke
– Člani-članice
– Veterani-veteranke
Program SOBOTA 3. 10. ali NEDELJA 4. 10. 2025
9.00-10.00: prijava tekmovalcev v KKK Žusterna in prevzem startne številke ter zemljevida proge in koordinate.
9.30: sestanek vseh udeležencev tekmovanja v KKK Žusterna
11.00: start tekmovanja za vse kategorije in discipline
14.00: razglasitev najboljših tekmovalcev cca 40 minut po zaključenem tekmovanju v KKK Žusterna
Varnost in oprema
Vsak tekmovalec mora imeti med tekmovanjem: rešilni jopič, primeren nepotopljiv čoln.
Svetuje se še dodatna oprema, in sicer: GPS, mobilni telefon v nepremočljivi vrečki, trak, s katerim je privezan čoln na telo.
Organizator bo zagotovil šest čolnov, ki bodo spremljali tekmovalce po celotni progi. Tekmuje se na lastno odgovornost.
V primeru nenadnih vremenskih sprememb si organizator dovoljuje prekiniti tekmovanje oziroma skrajšanje proge.
Vsak tekmovalec s prijavo izjavlja, da je sposoben veslanja in da obvladuje tehnike, ki so potrebne za veslanje po odprtem morju.
Možnost preoblačenja in shranjevanja oblačil bo v KKK Žusterna.
Nagrade
Prvi trije tekmovalci v posamezni kategoriji prejmejo medalje
Najhitrejši tekmovalec in tekmovalka prejmeta pokala mesta Koper.
Startnina
Startnina je 15 evrov na tekmovalca in se plača ob prevzemu štartne številke.

11. CUP of KOPER 2026 Invitation to the international Surf ski and SUP race
Date
The race will be held in a window of 2 days, Saturday, 3. 10. 2026 or Sunday, 4.10. 2026 – depending on the best downwind conditions. The exact date will be published 5 days before the race on www.kajak–zveza.si.
Regatta field
The start and finish of the competition will be in Žusterna, the course will be along the coast, past Izola to San Simon – moon bay.
Canoes allowed :
All type of kayak boats. Wildwater, sprint, SS1 – Men/Women (open category). All types of SUPs are allowed (open category).

– Juniors, M/W
– Seniores, M/W
– Veterans, M/W
Programme
9.00 – 10.00: Registration of the competitors, bib and maps delivery at Žusterna Kayak club.
9.30: Team leaders meeting KKK Žusterna
11.00: Start of the competition at the KKK Žusterna
14.00: Prize giving ceremony at KKK Žusterna
Security and equipment
All participants must declare that they are free of any physical troubles and that they are able to cover high physical demand for about 5 hours. Also every participant must declare that he/she is experienced in paddling at open sea conditions. Every participant has to agree and sign the liability waiver that will be found in the registration.
Safety is guaranteed with 6 boats. All participants have to use their own equipment, which has to be in secured and fully usable conditions, so it will not become a danger in using it, either for the participants or the organization. Also in addition all participants must have the experience to be able to complete the distance in open sea conditions. The organization reserves the right to deny any participant to start a race, if the organization has the impression or there are obvious signs that either the participant or material is not able to finish the race, without a payback of the registration fee.
The following items are mandatory:
Technically proper equipment. Life vest must be worn. Leash must be worn.
We advise participants to have a GPS and mobile in the water resistant bag. Very near the start location it will be possible to use the clothes storage and changing room.
Entry fee
Entry fee will be 15 Euros per person.
Medals
Medals will be given to best 3 in each category.
